After the pandemic, the expectation for this year was not very high but we didn’t lose faith; however, the buyers arrived and the fair was a complete success. Vendors from around the world were pleasantly surprised by the high traffic of attendees.
This fair, Floriexpo, formerly called the International Floriculture Expo, is owned by Divcom, an exhibition company that organizes hundreds of shows each year for various industries.
Bouquet producers were well represented by Elite, Native, Galleria Continental Flowers and others. Jet Fresh Flowers, as always, was providing entertainment.
Several breeders such as Ball, DeRuiters, United Selections, and Plantec, were there showing off new varieties and colors.
There was even a display from an African producer as it looks for new buyers to replace its old Russian customers. The Russia theme prompted other producers to attend as well.
It is said that the industry is better and it is expected that the bubble will not burst. The main theme is Logistics. There are not enough pilots, truckers, workers to meet the demand.
